SAVANNAH MOZINGO

Creative Inquiry
For three years of my time at Clemson, I have been a part of the Poverty Ends With a Girl Creative Inquiry group. I have found the experience to be so rewarding that I joined an additional group my senior year, Leapfrogging to Sustainable Tranportation. Being a part of these groups has shaped my entire undergraduate experience as well as focusing my future studies. Moreover, I have been able to give back by engaging with the Clemson community in conversations about these topics as well as expanding into an international community with Poverty End's With a Girl's pen-pal program with girls at the Jane Adney Memorial School in Kenya.
The Student Organic Farm
I have been volunteering at the Student Farm since Spring 2014. In this opportunity, I've found a way of further involving ethics into my life and what I've learned at Clemson. We work to provide CSA subscribers with quality organic vegetables and promote healthy living and eating on campus as well. On the Farm, I've found an inspiring group of co-workers and friends who have welcomed me into thoughtful living.
WSBF — Clemson's Student Radio
Once I walked onto the student media floor, I was immediently welcomed by a group of creative people. I've worked to help cultivate a community of art-lovers, music aficionados and journalist enthusiasts on Clemson's campus.
